"My daughter is just past the training stage with only the night times to crack, but I thought it would be a brilliant idea for summer outings.

We hired a beach hut and it solved the whole 'Mum, I want to go to the toilet' problem, especially as the public toilets on the beach are never near to you and would involve locking up and trailing my other 2 small children with me.

I also thought it would be a good safety net when out and about. Kids of around 3 years always want the loo at the most awkward times - fine if you're in a restaurant, but on a car journey it's not easy finding somewhere quickly, and getting them to go behind a hedge as a last resort can be messy! I only wish I could have got my hands on this earlier."

We use it at home, at friends' homes, at nursery, on the tailgate of the car, everywhere - and on one occasion both of them were sitting on their potties in the lift lobby of a major department store! “At last! The best invention I’ve seen for a long time!

Being a father & generally uninterested in shopping I tend to get the unenviable Saturday morning task of holding the buggy & looking after the kids whilst my wife drags us around looking for bargains. Our smallest is 2 ½ yrs old & potty training. When she needs to go she has to go! This potty is fantastic for grabbing from the back of the buggy & using on the spot, shutting the lid & hanging back up until you reach a convenient time to empty.

It was also a lifesaver on a recent flight to Dublin. Typically ten minutes from landing she had to go! We plonked her on the potty, fifteen seconds later she was buckled up, happy & the potty was stowed under the seat. Magic!"
